University of Florida

Hello everyone! x

As you may or may not know, I went to the University of Florida this past weekend for a tour. I've been researching the school for quite some time and really wanted to view the campus. It has one of the best Journalism and Communications programs in the country. It was such a fantastic opportunity to step foot onto the campus.

This is from the night before I left. My makeup case is super cute. My grandmother got it for me a Christmas or two ago. Love it!

Here, I am waiting for our rental car. I'm probably listening to Taylor Swift's 1989 album.

Here's a picture of my sister and I standing in front of our funky rental car. Very bright! It was hard to miss in any of the parking lots.

Finally, to the tour! Here's the stadium; it's massive! I love the bright colors and how alive it makes you feel, almost as if you were a gator yourself.

Ready for my OOTD?

Here's a glimpse of inside the campus. Very clean and welcoming.

Later, we went to a soccer game. Go Gators! The score was 6-1. As they score or earn a corner kick, they throw stuff into the stands. I caught a Gator! It was such a fun experience, even with the rain delay.

The next day, we went to The Florida Mall. Very cool!

Yes, we took a picture with the blue m&m. Another OOTD?

Downtown Disney! I've done several Disney posts. My family is known for loving Disney. They recently put this bridge up to connect the Saratoga Springs hotel and Downtown Disney. (See, my family is made up of Disney nerds.)

The water is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't resist posting it for you guys to see.

Ghiradeli. Is. The. Best. Enough said.

In conclusion to our trip we went mini golfing to please my sister. It was a lot of fun!

That concludes my trip to the University of Florida. We only stayed for 3 days. I am so thankful my parents gave me this opportunity. I plan on visiting a few more colleges and bringing you guys along for the journey. I really want to visit the University of Columbia. I'm still looking at others of course.

Thanks for reading,

Guilianna x

    1. Hahahah! The University of Florida was pretty big. Such an excellent adventure. Thanks for reading and commenting. xx

  2. Hey Guilianna! I had no idea you were coming down here to Florida! I hope you had a great time. UF does a week long summer workshop for high school students interested in Journalism and some people from my high school have been since we live close and say it is amazing! We need to keep in touch about collaborating possibly like we said before! Keep up the good work girl, I love your blog :)

    1. Hi! Really? I thought I mentioned it to you when we spoke that one time, I guess not. No way! No way! I live up North so it would be somewhat difficult to attend. I'll check it out though since I go to Florida pretty often. Yes, we most definitely should. Feel free to email me anytime. Thank you so much! I love your blog as well, Juliana! :)

  3. Great post and pictures, sounds like you had a great time! :)

    1. Thank you! I did. Such a beautiful campus. Thanks for reading and commenting. It means a lot to me. x

  4. American unis are so big compared to the ones I've looked at here in the UK! I am so jealous! Most of the unis I want to go to are literally just two buildings or one that's really big...

    1. Really? I wish I had the opportunity to tour other universities in other countries, but I'm afraid that would cost way too much money. Hahaha. The campus is absolutely gorgeous though. Thanks for reading! xx :)
