What's In My Purse?

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my blog! This week I'm sharing the ins and outs of my purse. Last week, I decided I wanted to use a bag appropriate for spring. Maybe it would become warmer faster- I don't know.


I typically like to carry larger wallets around, simply because they make it easy to be organized. In order to make more room in my purse, I am using a small ID wallet from Vera Bradley. In it includes: money, rewards cards, gift cards, and my privilege card/school ID.

Lip Balm

Because there is no room for a makeup bag, I only bring the essentials. Yes, my Jack Black lip balm is an essential. It keeps my list shiny and soft. (And of course, other lip products dive in every now and then too. Sometimes I have four lip products in my purse. Don't even touch my backpack. There's at least eight in there that I know of.)

Blotting Paper

I have blotting paper in every backpack/purse I own. It's crucial for my oily skin. I typically use it before/after lunch depending on the time.

Feminine Products

No shame. Keeping a pad/tampon in my purse is an essential. I like to keep liners in there for emergencies. You never know!

Bobby Pins/Hairties

They always go missing. I don't know why! I am constantly throwing them in and out of this purse.

iPhone 6

In today's world, how can you leave the house without your cell? I am always on Instagram and Pinterest.


A must. There are no ifs and/or buts about it. I personally use the Spotify app. Lately I've been listening to A Rocket to The Moon, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Mike Posner, The 1975, and Timeflies. And many, many more. I'm a music addict.


I like to think of myself as a classic girl. I wear the most classic shades of all: Original Wayfarers by Ray-Ban. I am in love with them. (Black shades, black one piece, black flip flops, and red lips. Hello, sunny Cali!)


For Valentine's Day, my parents bought me a Lilly Pulitzer key chain. It's super duper cute! I'm in love!


I love this notepad- perfect for spring! I only use it when I absolutely need it. I mean, our phones can do anything and everything.


Sometimes they're a need- especially after a trip to the Olive Garden. I love their garlic bread. Mmm!

Lilly Pulitzer Dresses Spring 2016

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to my blog! This week I am sharing some of the highlighted pieces of the Lilly Pulitzer 2016 collection- dresses! The Lilly patterns you love and adore are back and better than ever!

I am absolutely in love with these dresses. I can't wait to get my hands on one or two before the season ends. My personal favorite from the collection is the Callisto High Collar Shift Dress (9). Navy is the perfect color for the water as far as I'm concerned. A cruise to the Bahamas is calling my name! 

My second favorite from the collection is the Sofia Lace Shift Dress (8). I think it's super classy! I can definitely see myself wearing this to a fancy dinner in Mid-July.

Beauty Essential: Green Concealer

Hi everyone,

Recently I discovered "green concealer". I've always been quite hesitant about purchasing it. Does it really work? The answer is yes! I was amazed!

Packaging: 2/5

I admit- it's not cute, like at all; but that doesn't mean it's not convenient. It's small enough to throw in my backpack if I'm in a rush.

Application: 5/5

It is super easy to apply. It looks like a green lipstick- apply the tip of the wedge to the blemish. Then, blend with your ring finger. It's practically gone. (Though, I do recommend applying concealer and/or foundation over it to ensure it is even.)

Durability: 4/5

Personally, I find that it doesn't last all day, but it does last a decent amount of time. Please note that I have oily skin, therefore makeup tends to slide off of my face with ease. If you are someone with normal skin, it might last all day for you.

Finish: 5/5

Prepare for TMI: Right before I get my period, I break out really bad. I felt super insecure. I tried covering it up over and over again- but nothing worked. I decided to try out the green concealer. I have nothing left to lose! The green really does cancel out the red. After you apply foundation, followed by concealer it's gone. The blemish is completely unnoticeable.

Consistency: 3/5

It's nothing special.

Price: 5/5

I purchased this product for $3.00 at my local CVS. That's a steal for the wonders this product works.

Overall: 5/5

I think this product is a steal if you have a harsh breakout. It saved me completely. My confidence was instantly rebooted.

Most of these you probably have thought of on your own: sunnies, flip-flops, a towel. etc. Though, I would highly suggest bringing a romper. A romper is super easy to throw on over bathing suits... yet they're easy to dress up for a night out with your girls! 

Let's Jam

Spotify is an absolute must- whether it be spring break or not. There has never been an easier way to listen to all of your favorite tunes in one place.

This playlist has some of the latest tunes from Charlie Puth, to Flo Rida, to Mike Posner, and more! I will definitely be listening to these songs all spring break! 

Bust A Move or Two

It's time to get in shape! I love exercising; I feel amazing afterwards. Here are some of my favorite exercises and tips to help you get toned.

Create a Pinterest account. I love using Pinterest for finding exercises and post-workout smoothies. You can checkout my fitness Pinterest board by clicking here. I have a bunch of fun exercises.

Create a routine and stick with it! I work out Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I typically do no more than 30 minutes. On Sunday, I typically do an hour to an hour and a half depending on what I am doing. I could be running my own workout or playing soccer.

Make a playlist! Music is everything. I love jamming to Flo Rida. His songs are definitely blood pumping!

Try a challenge. Have you ever done 50 squats everyday for 30 days? Yeah, me neither. It's a good idea though! It's a really good motivator too.
