Merry Christmas, everyone!

Today, I thought I would share my 2017 Roundup with y'all. Here are just some of my favorite memories from 2017. Comment below what your favorite memory from 2017 was!

I shared my essay, "Blogging For The Better."

I'm all about personal blog posts these days. I decided to share one of my most personal stories with y'all. Thank you for being so loving and supportive.

I started working with companies. Lots and lots of companies. I couldn't be more thankful.

I need more fingers and toes to count how many companies I've collaborated with this year. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.

I earned a scholarship.

Cheers to being VP of Key Club! (I highly recommend you get involved in a club and apply for their scholarship. College isn't cheap!)

I went to Prom with my best friend.

I am beyond blessed to say that I went to prom with my best friend. You guys have met Kyle in a ton of previous blog posts and you will definitely see more of him this year. I had a BLAST at prom.

I graduated. Wow. That seems like forever ago.

I graduated. Enough said.

I went to Walt Disney World.

I go to Walt Disney World every year. I love having that time to dedicate with my family.

I went to the Hershey Spa.

If you ever have a chance to dip your feet in chocolate, do it!

I shared the "Lessons I Learned In High School." Cheers to personal blog posts!

Again with the personal blog posts trend. I shared the lessons I learned in the high school. I talked about the first boy to ever break my heart and the girl that backstabbed me right in front of me. That's high school. And that's okay.

I moved into college.

Big change. Being away from my family is a little hard. Click here to see my Dorm Room Tour.

I'm in college.

Being in college is definitely an experience. I will say, however, that I definitely broke out of my shell.

I lost some friends. And gained some friends. That's life.

It’s important to rid toxic people from your life. And, it’s just as important to fill your life with people who make you happy. 

I joined clubs and other activities.

I think this is what truly enhanced my college experience.

I've survived my first semester of college.

I survived. Enough said.

I hit 100,000 views on my blog.

This was a huge milestone for me and my blog-- 100,000 page views! 100,000 times this blog has been clicked on. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment on my blog.

I went to Jingle Ball 2017!

Jingle Ball was one of the best concerts I've ever experienced. I went to the one in Philly-- and the artists were incredible. My favorite performance was probably Liam Payne's "Strip That Down." I also really enjoyed when Halsey came out with the Chainsmokers and performed "Closer."

That concludes my 2017 Roundup! As you can see I had quite the year. Thank you to everyone who made my year spectacular!

Makeup Wishlist: Fall & Winter Edition

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

I apologize for not uploading a post last Monday. My life has been crazy busy lately. Midterms have been my number one priority. With that being said, I'd like to announce that I've received A's on all of my midterm exams and papers. Woo hoo!

Without further ado, here is my makeup wishlist for the colder months:

This mascara has been on my wishlist for the longest time. (Not to mention, Urban Decay's mascaras never fail to disappoint.)

I am a huge fan of Marc Jacobs' eyeliners. They glide on so smooth. I'm sure their nail polishes are very similar. I'm also in love with this color-- super festive!

I am currently in need of a new concealer, and I've heard nothing but good reviews about this one. I also adore the packaging. It's so cute! 

I'll be completely honest: I've never heard of this brand before. I discovered it on Polyvore while I was making this graphic. I'm currently on the hunt for some new blushes. (I've been using the same blushers for as long as I can remember!)

I love using sponges for my makeup When I use a sponge, I find that the foundation or concealer is distributed evenly across my skin. (Just remember to run your sponge under the faucet before hand. This way, the sponge doesn't absorb any of the excess product.) 

I've heard nothing but good things about NARS. However, I have yet to try a product from their line. (They're kind of pricey for a college girl's wallet!) They have a number of other colors that I would like to go swatch at Sephora sometime! 

I have been loving NYX products lately. They're not only affordable, but they are great quality. I would love to give their highlighter a fair try. Apparently it's supposed to be a dupe for Benefit's High-Beam highlighter, which I am a huge fan of.

I am in need of something to keep my eyebrows tamed during the long school day. As a college student, I have 9 AM classes and 4:30 PM classes. I think this gel would most definitely come in handy since I'm on the move ALL day. 

Like I mentioned earlier, I am a college student. I'm up until 1:00 AM, working on my blog, writing papers, and spending time with friends. Combine that with an 8:00 AM wakeup call. Not. A. Good. Combo. Hopefully this concealer will help conceal those tired eyes I wake up with every morning.

Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck Enchanted perfume has been my go to perfume since my freshman year of high school. (Yes, a little bottle has lasted my 4+ years!) I am in desperate need of a new bottle. However, I think a rollerball would be more convenient. Plus, it's easier to apply.

I have yet to get my hands on a big, fluffy kabuki brush. This one is calling my name!

This blush looks like it would be the perfect shade for my skin tone. I've also been wanting to try a cream blush!

Lately, I've been enjoying wearing minimal makeup. I think NYX's bb cream would be an exciting product to experiment with.

I apologize for all of the blushers I have included in this blog post. Here's the last one, I promise. I have yet to try a gel blush. Again, this is a product I would love to experiment with during the holiday season.

Though I am in need of a new blusher, I am also in need of a new concealer. I had the opportunity to try this concealer awhile back and liked it a lot. I think I'd like to give the whole tube a purchase!

October Favorites

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

It's definitely been starting to feel more like fall where I live-- and I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. I love wearing boots and sweaters, however, I could do without the freezing weather.

Today, I'm sharing my October Favorites with y'all. This month, I've been experimenting with some new makeup products. I've also been decorating my dorm room and jamming to some new songs.

NYX No Filter Finishing Powder // $12

I've been wearing this powder pretty much-- every single day. I actually wore it to Cabrini University's Homecoming dance. My skin looked flawless in all of the pictures. Highly, highly recommend!

Total Control Drop Foundation Brush // $14

Lately, I've only been wearing concealer. I use this brush to blend out my under eye concealer and any other concealer I may have on my face. It works wonders!

Mauve Nude Press on Nails from Nails on Lis // $13.99

I love, love, love this color! I think it's so flattering. I love how the nails come with all of the tools necessary to apply. Super helpful! I also found that they come off with ease.

*My friend Carmen helped me take these pictures! I think these nails look absolutely stunning on her. However, please note, that we did trim them quite a bit and file them.

Joleen Creations Bracelets // $10-$25

I love accessorizing-- especially during the fall season. I've been rotating between these bracelets throughout the month. They're the perfect colors!

Another thing I've been loving this month-- my It's Fall sign from Magnolia Events and Creations. It's the perfect decoration for my dorm room. Semester Midpoint Update

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Today, I'm sharing an update with y'all. I thought it would be fun to give you some insight as to the classes I'm taking.

Europe in The 20th Century

My history class isn't as bad as I thought. That's between you and me, though. If anyone else asks, I'll deny it. For being a three hour lecture hall, it's not horrible. My teacher is entertaining and he gives us a 10-15 minute break in the middle of the class. A girl can appreciate that.

Honors Engagements of The Common Good

So, I'm actually kicking butt. For real. We played the Manhattan Project Board Game and I won. Multiple times. As a reward, my professor gave me a $15 Starbucks gift card and a Cabrini University travel mug. That's what I'm talking about!

Fun fact: This is a 300 level course. Say, what? I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But, I'm getting into the swing of things. I like to material we're studying. For our "big assignment" we have to write about women in a specific genre. I'm focusing on how women are perceived in Vogue. Body image. Sex objects. Ahh! It's so interesting!

Spanish Conversation and Composition

I'm in Spanish 203. And, I'm the only freshman. At first, it was definitely a little intimidating. Now, I walk into class like I own the place. (Just kidding!) This class is definitely my hardest class by far. I like to dedicate 15-30 minutes of my day to this class. I study vocabulary, grammar concepts, and do the homework. There's SO much homework!

Honors College Success 

This class has been a breeze for me. We talk about time management and study tips. Not bad at all! Every now and then we have a writing assignment, but I like them. They're fun to write.

I love this sweater. I think the layered look is so preppy and girly.

This bag will forever be on my wishlist. I love this bag so, so much. Plus, it's my school's color! It would be the perfect accessory for basketball games and other on campus events.

I love, love, love Lauren Conrad. She is one of my favorite designers of all time. I own a couple pairs of shoes from her, along with some sweaters. However, I don't own any brown ankle booties. I think these would be the perfect addition to my collection.

Boot socks are one of my favorite accessories for the fall season.

Butter London Sea Shell Nail Polish // $10

I have a thing for Butter London nail polish. It glides on so smoothly. I also love this color. I feel like it's one of those colors that you can get away with despite the season.

I guess you know you're a college student when you're asking for shampoo and conditioner for your birthday. I love Garnier products! They leave my hair looking new and shiny.

In general, I just need some yummy smelling body stuff. Bath & Body Works is the place to go for some awesome fall scented body mists.

Confession: I've never tried PIXI products. I've been wanting to try PIXI products ever since Aspyn Ovard did a collaboration with them. I really like liquid blushes, too.

Simply Southern Women's Whoo T-shirt Navy // $30

In my opinion, you can never have too many (1) Simply Southern tees and (2) long sleeves. This shirt is the best of both worlds. Not to mention, it's navy!

The Only Transition Pieces You Need: Summer to Fall

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Today, I'm featuring one of my favorite Etsy shops: Honey and Sage Boutique. They were so kind to send me this light, pullover sweater and this canvas tote bag.

I love how versatile this sweater is. I can wear with jeans and riding boots, or with yoga pants and sneakers. It's the perfect balance between a sweater and a sweatshirt. I also adore how soft it is. 

The tote bag is also super cute! It can be used despite the season. I love how nautical this bag is; I love the navy and red. And the rope handle detailing is gorgeous! I love that touch.

What It's Really Like Living On Campus

It's that time of year where high school seniors are applying to colleges and learning about their acceptances. I remember, this time last year, I was accepted to Cabrini University. I was faced with the decision of commuting or living on campus. Originally, I was going to commute. However, after months of debating, I decided to take on the challenge of living on campus.

Here's what it's really like living on campus:

1. You and your roommate might not click.

I've heard stories from other freshman. It stinks, but it happens. Be respectful and move on. It's okay if you guys aren't apart of the same friend group.

2. People usually run the halls around 2 AM and scream. For. No. Good. Reason.

Yes, people can be inconsiderate. They scream at the top of their lungs and crank up the music-- just because they can. They don't care that you have a class tomorrow at 8:00 AM. Buy earplugs.

3. You will get homesick.

I FaceTime my parents every night before I go to bed. I also FaceTime my boyfriend. It's definitely a difficult transition. However, talking to my family and checking in makes it easier. Also, make friends! Having friends and making plans makes the transition a heck of a lot easier. 

4. Eating grilled cheese sandwiches three days in a row is a bad idea.

I know... they're delicious. Don't do it. Been there, done that.

5. The cafeteria food really isn't that bad.

The food in my cafeteria is pretty darn good, to be honest. My cafeteria has an action bar where they make the food right in front of you. Pretty cool, huh? 

6. It's a lot easier to make friends.

I can't imagine if I was a commuter student during my first year. I'm a super shy person, making friends would have been extremely difficult. Living on campus makes it a lot easier to jump out of your comfort zone and go for it!

7. Seniors don't let freshmen into parties.

Here's some advice to all of you rebels out there: don't go. There are better ways to spend your Friday nights. Go to a event hosted by the campus. Go to a movie. There are a ton of safer alternatives.

8. Communal showers are gross.

Yes, there's hair. No, there's no place to put your leg up to get a clean shave. Yes, there's toothpaste in the sinks. No, there's nothing you can do about it. Just remember to bring your shower shoes.

9. You'll definitely get out of your comfort zone.

I've done things I've never thought I'd do. But hey, here I am. That's definitely a positive thing, by the way!

10. It's a heck of a lot easier to get sick.

As I am typing up this blog post, my nose is running and my throat couldn't be sorer. Three words: Colds. Spread. Fast. I'm sucking on cough drops and hoping for the best. Remember to drink lots of water and stock up on the hand sanitizer. 

11. You learn responsibility.

When you live on campus, you are responsible for yourself. You have to do your own laundry. Take out your own trash. Manage your own time. It's definitely a little overwhelming at first, but you get used to it. (Keep an agenda and color code it. It will help a lot!)

Overall, I like living on campus. It's nice to roll out of bed and do whatever you want. However, I miss my family like crazy. I also miss taking baths. And doing face masks in the privacy of my own bathroom. But hey, it's been an eyeopening experience for me.

September Favorites

Good morning, everyone!

Today, I'm sharing some of my favorites from this month. I don't have too many beauty related favorites, however, I do have some lifestyle and fashion favorites.

Tea Tree Body Soap from Primark

I shared this product with y'all in my What's In My Shower Caddy? blog post. I've been using it everyday in the shower. Not only does it smell really good, but it's been keeping my skin really clear. Highly recommend!

Charcoal Nose Strips

I am all about staying in on a Friday night and doing some self-care. I'm thinking: bubble bath, chocolate, Netflix, and a peel off mask. There's nothing better than that. On top of a face mask, I like to do a post strip. You wouldn't believe how much gunk these strips pull out. They're amazing!

FitBit App

I mentioned awhile back that I got a FitBit. I love my Fitbit and I love that it tracks my steps. My goal is to reach 8,000 steps everyday. However, on days when I go to the gym I reach over 13,000. If you have a Fitbit, definitely download the app! Oh, and join challenges! They definitely motivate me to get some extra steps in.

Going To The Gym

With that being said, I've also been enjoying going to the gym on a consistent schedule. I usually go on Monday and Wednesday mornings since I have later classes. If you're looking to start going to the gym, my number one tip would be to find a gym buddy!

Starbucks Hot Chocolate

Yes, yes, and yes! I recently bought the reusable cup that allows you to save 10 cents every time you use it.

Taylor Swift's Latest Music

Not going to lie, I was pretty surprised with Swift's latest releases. However, I'm excited for what she has in store for November. Who else is pumped?

What's In My Backpack?

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

I thought I would share the contents of my backpack with y'all. I know I've done multiple of these posts in the past, but this is A College Girl's Edition. 

Let's start off with my backpack. My backpack is from L.L. Bean. And yes, for the record it has my monogram on it. #IfItDoesntMoveMonogramIt

MacBook Air

The first thing I pulled out is my MacBook Air. I love my MacBook to death. I've had since the end of July and it works great! (Oh! And, keeping it protected is my Kate Spade laptop case. I love it to death!) 

Lilly Pulitzer Jumbo Agenda

The next thing I have in my backpack is my agenda. I swear by this thing. I actually did a whole blog post on how I organize my agenda. Click here.

My Notebook(s)/Folder(s)

This semester, I have six classes. I use a three subject notebook for my main classes. I usually end up throwing this in my bag along with whatever folders I need.

Any Books/Textbooks That I Need

Again, depending on the day my textbooks will change. However, I almost always keep my Spanish textbook in my bag. Whenever I have free time I work on assignments for that class. The class is both in person and hybrid. I also have some sort of chapter book in my bag. I have heavy reading assignments for both my history and English classes.

Writing Utensil Pouch

I picked this pencil pouch up a few weeks ago from T.J. Maxx. It was in the clearance section; I couldn't resist. In this bag, I keep a variety of colorful pens, highlighters, and pencils. For the record, I love Sharpie Pens. They write so smooth.

Emergency Kit

The Southern Wicked Shop was so kind and sent me this monogrammed cosmetic bag. I use it to store oil absorbing sheets, pads/tampons, etc. 


It's allergy season!


Headphones are a must for me. Not everyone wants to hear your FaceTime call with your family. 

Snacks... And More Snacks

I like to keep a bag of pretzels, a bag of popcorn, some protein bars, and some chocolate chip granola bars in my bag. A girl's gotta eat!

Sticky Notes

I love sticky notes! I post them every where: my agenda, desk, laptop, etc. They're nice to post reminders.

That includes everything thats in my backpack!

A College Girl's Morning Routine

I am officially into the swing of things here at Cabrini University. With that being said, I wanted to share with y'all what I do on a typical morning at CU.

8:00 AM

Wake-up! I spend about 10-15 minutes scrolling through all of my social media: Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. Oh, and I also check my email.

8:15 AM

I make my bed. Like every other beauty blogger/vlogger, I feel like it's a good start to my day.

8:20 AM

If I didn't pack out my clothes the night before, I do this now. My go to outfit is a pair of leggings and a soft v-neck. I like to dress this up with pearl earrings and a dainty necklace. Oh, and I can't forget my FitBit. I average 10,233 steps a day, for those of you who are wondering.

8:25 AM

Then, I get my shower gear together and head to the communal bathroom. I will say, I actually like my bathroom a lot. The door shuts all of the way for complete privacy.

8:45 AM

I'm out of the shower! I come back to my room, where I do my hair and makeup.

9:00 AM

I log into my college account to see if any of my teachers posted any announcements.

9:05 AM

I go through my planner to see what I have to do for the day. Sometimes I have reading assignments I have to complete, other days I have blog posts to write, and other times I have "me time" to grasp.

9:15 AM

Then, I begin to tackle any work that needs to be done!

10:00 AM

I pack my bag for classes and get on my way!

Everyday my schedule is different, so some mornings I might go to the gym, I might grab breakfast, etc. Let me know if y'all want to see a fitness routine. I think that would be really fun to film on campus.

I've been on the hunt for a flannel since the middle of summer. I found this one on the L.L. Bean website and fell in love. Definitely a fall must-have.

I've also been looking for a solid black vest. I think this will be a great piece for layering.

LC Lauren Conrad Pullover Sweater

I am a lover of all things Lauren Conrad. Whenever I go to Kohls, I checkout the clearance section for any LC markdowns. I think this sweater is so bright and fun. Pair with jeans and some riding boots, and you're good to go!

Long sleeve tops are my favorite! They're so easy to throw on, whether it be with jeans or leggings. This pink color has been one of my favorites lately. And of course, who doesn't love a classic Vineyard Vines tee?

I am so excited to share how I decorated my dorm room with y'all! Early on, I decided to decorate my room with a bright pink and navy blue color scheme. I am a lover of all things bright, girly, and preppy. That's exactly what my dorm room shouts.
