First Impressions: Senior Classes

My last semester of college is in full swing. For the first time, I feel like I bit off more than I can chew; I'm taking a combination of 300 and 400 level classes. For whatever reason, I thought this would be a breeze like it was in previous years. I was wrong:

Research Methods I

At first, I was nervous about this class. (There's about 30 students in the class.) However, as the weeks go by, I'm becoming more comfortable with the content. Throughout the year, I have to complete a research project. I'm really looking forward to sharing that experience with y'all!

Senior Seminar

I'm taking senior seminar as a directed study. This means I'm taking it a semester early and the professor is working with me 1:2 to help me finish my degree early. We're meeting 5 times throughout the semester for lectures. I'm definitely a little nervous! I'll keep y'all posted!

Latin American Story

This is definitely going to be my hardest class. The class is entirely in Spanish. No. English. At. All.

I don't know every word, so it's easy for me to fall behind. Luckily, I have an incredible boyfriend who speaks Spanish and he's been helping me and practicing with me. I'm so thankful for him!

Brain and Behavior

By far my favorite class so far! At first, I was a little intimidated by the course description, but I'm excited to learn about the different brain pathways. Who knows, maybe I'll go into neuroscience!

Learning Lab

So far, so good! It's definitely not what I expected... but that's okay. Any knowledge is great knowledge.

Honors English: Poet Priests

I've had this professor before, so I'm prepared for her assignments. However, it is a lot of reading!! Hard reading, too. However, I love love. So, I'm enjoying the romantic poetry she's assigning.

What classes are you looking forward to this semester?
